E-Chopper hire in Harderwijk
You effortlessly follow one of the routes you received before setting off, from junction to junction, silently through the Veluwe woods. You only head out once you're well prepared. After a clear explanation of the e-chopper and picking the best helmet (or the nicest one), your adventure begins.
On the e-chopper you explore the area in a comfortable and adventurous way, even if you've never been here before. The electric motor is quiet, so you can fully immerse yourself in the Veluwe around you.

We flew round the forest route (26 km), which we really enjoyed despite the rain. The price includes three hours, a break (two recommended places for a bite to eat are mentioned) and even a possible minor traffic offence ;-) It was a fantastic experience!

During the introduction you'll hear more about the routes you can ride on the e-chopper. They're all ready and waiting for you. So you set off the good old-fashioned way, with classic route directions.
Choose the Beekhuizerzand, the Ermelosche Heide or race straight through the Veluwe woods. Along the way you'll pass several cafés and restaurants where you can take a break on a cosy terrace.
Before or after your ride you can relax with a drink. Start with a fresh cup of coffee or finish with an ice-cold soft drink. Just choose one of the packages when you book.

Did you know? You can combine the e-chopper ride with the Outdoor BBQ. Ride through woods, heath and drifting sands and end the day with a barbecue at our location. A popular combination for groups of friends, family days and company outings.
On Saturday 16 May 2026 we had a fantastic family day at Outdoor Harderwijk: first coffee and cake, then a lovely ride through the forests on the E-chopper, followed by a brilliant BBQ.

Important information
- Every participant must be able to show a valid driving licence.
- Children aged 4 to 12 can ride along with an adult, as long as their combined weight does not exceed 120 kg.
- You ride one of our routes; there's no deviating from it.
- You pay a deposit of €200 for up to 4 e-choppers; for 5 or more e-choppers you pay a deposit of €250.
Great experience at Outdoor Harderwijk! The e-choppering was really good fun, we had a lovely girls' day out. We got very clear instructions and the man who helped us did it in a fun, humorous way. Definitely recommended!
