Tandems

At Outdoor Harderwijk we have different types of tandem available for you. Pay close attention when booking! There's a parent-child tandem and a regular tandem for adult riders.

The parent-child tandem is the ideal and fun choice when you head out as a parent with your child aged 4 to 8. Your child sits at the front and can really enjoy the surroundings. Of course, they can pedal along too. Meanwhile you, as the parent, stay in control and keep an overview, because only you can steer. Sounds like a good deal.

The regular tandems are suitable for adults or older children. Try getting on together and riding off in one go, it's quite a challenge! At the front you're fully in control, because you're the captain. At the back you just follow along, literally!

Is your group an odd number? Then check out one of our other activities so you can still head out together. We also offer e-bikes, cargo bikes and children's bikes, for example. You can also round off your day on the tandem with a delicious slice of apple pie and fresh coffee at our place on the Boekhorstlaan; just choose a package.
